In most cases we will coordinate our schedules so that we can conduct the evaluation in one session as a team, for the convenience of the student and family. Because of the individualized level of service we provide, we recommend scheduling well in advance of the student’s 18 birthday. For legal purposes, the evaluation can be conducted up to six months (180 days) before turning 18.

Since the pandemic, evaluations are conducted over Zoom, rather than in our office or in the child's school or home.  The Zoom platform allows us to interview parents, interview the student or conduct an observation, as well as have discussion with other professionals who work with the student.  A Zoom invitation will be sent prior to the appointment.

For sending reports and other materials, please send us an email with attachments, as this will arrive much more quickly than standard mail  If you are not able to send material via email, please use the following mailing address: Dr. Jim Caron, PO Box 795, Great Barrington MA 01230
